Proceedings ? Why isn't Proceedings available in the Document type menu ?

What should I use as document type if I want to cite the whole proceedings of a single conference (not just one paper) ? Book ? But then, I can't enter the place and the date of the event.

    Use Book for this. There isn’t a meaningful difference between a book and a whole conference proceedings book. If you need the event information, you can add that to Extra like this:

    Event: event name
    Event place: event place
    Event date: 2020-01-02
