Did you need to restart anything for it to start working? Does it break again if you restore it to simplified Chinese?

1. Just need to restart the Mac Word after changing my system language to English.

Sorry, I've tried reproducing this on my own Mac, but it works fine, so there's something more going on than just the locale alone on your system. I don't think we'll be able to fix this or provide troubleshooting steps on our end.
