Tags added in Notes Tab not appearing in search or in Web Library

I added a couple tags using the Add Tags feature at the bottom of a Note. They showed up properly in the Tag Selector in my desktop app but not in my Web Library. Nor would they show up in the desktop Advanced Search. When I added them via the Tag tab, they did appear in the Web Library and in the desktop Advanced Search.

    What do you mean when you say they don't show up in Advanced Search? Show up where? They definitely will appear in the autocomplete for the Tag condition. You won't find a note based on its tag if you add a Collection condition, since that searches for parent items, though there's a way to do so with an extra saved search that we can explain if that's what you're trying to do.

    Note/attachment tags are not currently supported in the web library.

    Ok, I had assumed note tags were the same as item tags. I was trying to set up links to individual tag searches in my web library. So I take it all my note tags need to be applied to the item level in order to show up there. Thanks.
