Copying text with citations from one google doc to another
Hi
My partner and I are trying to work on one master document and adding citations as we go. We have already realised that working simultaneously on a shared document is not stable and we cannot do that. So we decided to have our own working documents with a view to combining them. I tested this and it seemed to work fine. (we are currently focusing on different chapters so that works) Now however every time we paste any text across between the documents, the links get broken and Zotero often crashes.
We both have everything open and signed in. We are working from a shared group library.
Any advice please .
Thanks

The latter is certainly fine. You might run into trouble with the former if you're actively adding or refreshing Zotero citations at the same time.

What do you mean by "crashes"?
The links should not be broken as long as you both have the Zotero Connector installed and enabled (with the "Zotero" menu showing in Google Docs).
If you can reproduce that causing citations to become unlinked, we'd want to see a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for a copy attempt that resulted in unlinking. (You'd want to confirm that the citations were in fact linked before copying by clicking Refresh, which scans the document for unlinked citations. The warning won't appear until the next Zotero operation after whatever action caused the unlinking.)
