apa-cv.csl status and year-suffix

I am using apa-cv.csl to format my CV. I want to have things that are forthcoming. If I have a 'status' field in my data called 'forthcoming' I get output like this: '(forthcoming-)'. I don't want the dash. If I comment out line 425 of the csl, '< text variable="year-suffix" prefix="-" >', there is no dash. So, it works for me. But, I wonder whether the style should be putting a dash there at all.

Can you export your CV items to CSL JSON (at least the various items with status but no year), paste the exported data, to hastebin.com or similar, and link here?
