Why did it all of the sudden highlight

why did it all of the sudden highlight a few citations and extra text around them and I can't get the green highlight off!

    Not sure what you're referring to here. You can take a screenshot, upload it somewhere (e.g., Dropbox), and post a link here, and someone might be able to tell you what the problem is, but it doesn't sound like this has anything to do with Zotero.
