Trouble with adding citation in Word (Mac)

Hi,

I work at a university and one of the students have not been able to use Zotero in Word. She gets an error message indicating that the Zotero program is not running even though it is. Is this a common problem?
We've tried uninstalling and installing again with no luck.

This usually means that Zotero and Word run with a different privilege status, e.g. one running as Administrator and normally. The quick way to check this is to force both to run as Administrator and see if it works. If it does you'd have to figure out why one of the programs runs as Administrator and disable that. No software should normally run as Administrator as that introduces security risks.
