Insert Zotero citations with author outside of parentheses?
Hi do I insert a citation with the author outside of parentheses ,rather than inside the parentheses. So I might want to write:
Johnsion (2006) writes that....
But to me the only way to insert the citation via zotero is to end up with (Johnson 2006) writes. There is the option to supress the author. But then I end up with (2006) and I have to remember what the name is to write it. With multi-author entires or complicated names this can be a burden.

adamsmithCurrently suppress author is the only official way. @djross3 has put together a macro that helps with this (can't find it quickly right now) and an improved solution is generally in the work but no ETA.

djross3(Yes, I created a Word macro that works similarly, although you'd have to adapt it for the citation style you're using: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/73159/announcing-zoterzero-for-author-only-cites -- the simplest option is to just do without -- write the name manually -- but if you want to go through the extra effort of setting this up as a macro, I personally use it and find it helpful.)
