items loading very slowly

Hi,
At present zotero is not usable. My library items are not loading - the green arrow is spinning indefinitely. I have an unlimited account -- so storage shouldn't be the problem.. The error report ID I generated is: 1549761739.

  • Start by checking your database integrity from the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero preferences.

    If that passes, can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through a few minutes of the initial sync (until you think it's stalled), using the "Restart with Logging Enabled" option?
  • No errors in the Database inquiry test.
    Upon restarting through Help->Logging Enabled, the references appeared (!) -- first time in weeks.

    Should I use Zotero "logging enabled" from now on as default so the refeernces will populate normally?

  • No, the logging has nothing to do with it. You likely just had to restart Zotero. That's always the first thing to try if Zotero (or anything else) isn't working properly.
