items loading very slowly

Hi,
At present zotero is not usable. My library items are not loading - the green arrow is spinning indefinitely. I have an unlimited account -- so storage shouldn't be the problem.. The error report ID I generated is: 1549761739.

    Start by checking your database integrity from the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero preferences.

    If that passes, can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through a few minutes of the initial sync (until you think it's stalled), using the "Restart with Logging Enabled" option?

    No errors in the Database inquiry test.
    Upon restarting through Help->Logging Enabled, the references appeared (!) -- first time in weeks.

    Should I use Zotero "logging enabled" from now on as default so the refeernces will populate normally?

    No, the logging has nothing to do with it. You likely just had to restart Zotero. That's always the first thing to try if Zotero (or anything else) isn't working properly.
