Syncing new laptop with zotero on PC

I am wanting to use my zotero library and attachments on my new laptop as well as my e PC . I am told to sync by opening the Sync pane in Preferences .. but where will I find Preferences?
Could someone walk me through the process please?! Many thanks.

    Open the preferences by clicking “Edit → Preferences” (Windows/Linx) or “Zotero → Preferences” (Mac). You can also press Ctrl/Cmd-,.
    You can also just click the Sync button in the top right and it will prompt you to open the Sync pane if you haven't yet set up syncing.
