I have a few problems with my annotations (this one is done in Papership) transferring to Zotero. Most of my work does not have these errors.

For the PDFs in question, if you open them and try to copy some of the text, and paste it somewhere else, does that work or do you also get gibberish. If you happen to have Firefox installed, it'd also be good to test opening the PDF there and copying & pasting.
