problems with changing font-style in notes from italic to normal

Sometimes when I am typing in italics in a note, it won't return to normal text when I press 'command i'. This only happens now and then, but is rather annoying. Can this be fixed?

Zotero uses TinyMCE for rich text in notes (it is actually writing HTML). If/when this gets fixed it will be fixed by them. With that said, you can always pop open the HTML for any given note and manually correct these sorts of issues.
