accidental deletion of pdf

Hi,
I accidentally deleted the file with all my pdf. Is there a way to launch an online search to recover the pdf, generally freely available?

What do you mean by "the file with all my pdf"?

Are you saying you deleted your Zotero data directory? A folder with your linked files?

Zotero can try to retrieve open-access and subscription-based PDFs for your items, but if you have existing child attachments with missing files, you'd have to delete those first. It's possible to do that in batch, but you should first explain exactly what the situation is that you're in.

yes, I deleted the folder with my linked pdf... what a shame.

I managed to retrieve available pdf! I love Zotero.
