Style request : [JSO : Journal de la Société des Océanistes]
Dear colleague,
I would be very happy if someone could create a new style for JSO - Journal de la Société des Océanistes (French Journal) : https://journals.openedition.org/jso/10756) ?? Ethnologie française style could be the basis for JSO style
Here is a link of an open acces paper in the journal:
https://journals.openedition.org/jso/8531
And here are the exact sample citations requested (but I am unable to apply
. the italic style for "et al" and fort the name of the review in the bibliography
. the "small caps" style for name of authors in the bibliography )
In text citation :
(Campbell et Pedersen, 2007 : 105)
(Campbell et al, 2008 : 32_42) if more than 2 authors
(Mares, 2001 : 12)
Bibliography
CAMPBELL (!!!!small caps !!!) John Luis, PEDERSON (!!!!small caps !!!)Oliver, 2007. The varieties of capitalism and hybrid success. Comparative Political Studies 40, 3, pp. 307–332.

To help you, I noticed that "Ethnologie française style" is quite close from the requested style.
Best regards
All JSO review members are very happy with the creation of zotero JSO style. One of my student said me that there were two more changes to do if you have time:
For in text citation as well as in final bibliography, actual zotero style writes
(Campbell and Pedersen, 2007: 105) instead of (Campbell et Pedersen, 2007 : 105)
Please could you change "and" for "et" and add a space before ":" ?
In final bibliography to > "et" instead of "and"
I thank you in advance,
Best regards
Catherine

Here is a link of an open acces paper in the journal yo see what I want to say
https://journals.openedition.org/jso/8531
I thank you again :-)
Source: https://journals.openedition.org/jso/8531
The style already uses small caps.
Example:
Cᴀᴍᴘʙᴇʟʟ John L. and Ove K. Pᴇᴅᴇʀsᴇɴ, 2007. The varieties of capitalism and hybrid success. Comparative Political Studies, 40 (3), pp. 307–332.
Most of the papers in JSO are in French but not the one I sent to you :-/.....
In French the style wants french "et" and a space before ":"
https://journals.openedition.org/jso/7224
"Par exemple, la revue Hermès (Barbe et Meltz, 2013) a consacré un dossier au « monde Pacifique dans la mondialisation », faisant appel à divers spécialistes des champs relatifs à la linguistique, aux techniques, à l’art, aux patrimoines et aux cultures en Océanie."
Could we have English JSO style and French JSO style?? I don't know if this particularity does exist in other reviews??
Thanks again
"accélérant la cristallisation de la revendication politique mélanésienne (Leblic, 1993, 2003 ; Soriano, 2014)."

I have removed the default language of the style and you will be able to switch between English or French in the Document Preferences now.
Open Zotero and click on this link:

(French, open article: https://journals.openedition.org/jso/13023)
Last thing for tonight > In text citation, French style wants space before ":" and before ";" like here "accélérant la cristallisation de la revendication politique mélanésienne (Leblic, 1993, 2003 ; Soriano, 2014)."
https://journals.openedition.org/jso/7224
Regarding the edit function for posts, I have the wheel but when I click on edit nothing changes....

Do you see the same pb?
Thank you
