Help with IEEE formatting in Zotero

Hello all,

I apologize if this has already been addressed, but I didn't find any information searching the forum. My students are using Zotero to format references in IEEE, but several of them keep getting the bracketed reference number on weird separate line instead of left justified. Adding an extra space doesn't seem to help. What can I do to help them fix it?

Here is an example of the problem:

TIA!
  • Using copy to/from Clipboard with IEEE tends to do this because of weirdness how word processors interpret clipboard content.

Either save to RTF and open in Word (or LibreOffice or similar) or use the Word/LO/Google Docs add on to insert citations and create a bibliography.
