Change OS, but keep everything
Hi there,
How can I format my computer without losing Zotero?
I am planning to syncronize it, but since I have a huge amount of PDFs, i can't upload them to internet, so I intend to copy the Zotero directory on my linux installation to an external HD.
So, when I have the fresh new install of OS, will it be possible to just copy from the external HD the PDFS to Zotero folder or it will change everything?
I mean, I don't want to lose what I catalagoed, but i can't upload usch massive ammount of pdf to the internet.
Any ideias?

bwiernikCopy your Zotero data directory (https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data) to the new computer. It has the same structure regardless of OS.

carvalharSo, it's really just copy and paste all Zotero directory. Easy as this?
