Delete key in Zotero/Ubuntu

Hi all,

In Zotero/Ubuntu, the 'delete key' doesn't do anything. Neither does shift-delete... Is there something I could do to make it work?

Are you referring to some documentation? Are you trying to delete an item?

On Linux and Windows, you need to press Delete (sometimes labeled "Del") to delete a collection or item. On macOS, it's the backspace key — which happens to be labeled "delete" on Apple keyboards.

If you're using Linux on a keyboard that only has a backspace (e.g., a Mac), you'd have to use a modifier key to activate forward-delete. On a Mac keyboard, that would be fn-delete.
