Citations in Word missing newspaper name

I'm using latest Word for Mac with the Zotero plugin for footnotes. In citing articles from the NY Times using Zotero I find that only the headline appears in footnotes. There is no publication name, no byline, no date etc. Yet these are captured in the appropriate Zotero fields. Footnoting for books etc works fine. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help!
