attaching a pdf file with a very long filename

I am trying to attach a pdf file to a library item, and I want Zotero to store a copy inside Zotero data directory. The filename has a very long filename (139 characters, including its extension) and this seems to be a problem when making the attachment. I am forced to reduce the filename to 131 characters or less, even though filenames in NTFS can have up to 256 characters. Making a link, on the contrary, works fine.

Is there any form of keeping the original filename?
