I love Zotero because I can quickly open up, read, edit, save, and come back to papers.
The past few days I've noticed, however, that Zotero is NOT saving my PDF changes (highlights and textboxes added). This is super frustrating because then all of my work to highlight important info is pointless.
Why is this happening and how can it be fixed?

Why is this happening and how can it be fixed?
If you're looking on a different computer from where you made the annotations and using Zotero syncing, you need to make sure that whatever PDF program you're using is saving the changes back to the file itself (not some secondary file) and that file syncing is working for you.
