MLA 8th edition: quotation marks & full stop mistake?

While creating a Works Cited list in Word (Mac), I noticed that article titles are cited with single quotations marks and quotes inside titles with double quotation marks. Shouldn't these be reversed in MLA 8? In addition, the full stop after the title is outside the quotation marks, instead of inside. Can anyone help me modify the html code for MLA 8th edition to fix these mistakes or tell me what I might be doing wrong?

Ex.:
McMurtry, Leslie Grace. ‘“I’m Not a Real Detective, I Only Play One on Radio”: Serial as the Future of Audio Drama’. The Journal of Popular Culture, vol. 49, no. 2, Apr. 2016, pp. 306–24.

When it should be:
McMurtry, Leslie Grace. “'I’m Not a Real Detective, I Only Play One on Radio': Serial as the Future of Audio Drama.” The Journal of Popular Culture, vol. 49, no. 2, Apr. 2016, pp. 306–24.
  • Quotation marks are determined by the language set on the citation style. You have it set to Brithish English (en-GB) (in the Document Settings). Change it to American English (en-US)
  • Perfect, thank you so much! :)
