I can use the Zotero connector using EBSCO database but not ProQuest database. Everything is saved as a web page and I only get a snapshot and not the PDF saved. So then I have to download the pdf and connect it manually and I have to change the citation from web page to journal article manually. If I have to do all of that manually then what's the point in having zotero.
I checked that Zotero is up to date. I deleted the connector and added it again.
This must have something to do with proxies?
I've been getting a message about redirecting through proxy when I am using the library databases that I didn't use to get.

dstillmanedited September 8, 2020What's an example URL that doesn't work on ProQuest? You can x out your institution name.

christine.woodsIt worked just now! WOW! Whatever needed to be fixed must have been done by Zotero. Maybe they got lots of complaints about ProQuest not working with it. I tried for hours over the weekend. But I tried it just now and it worked. Many thanks for answering my help request.

adamsmithNothing changed with Zotero. If you try to import lots of items into Zotero quickly, both ProQuest and EBSCO may block you temporarily, so just waiting a day may have done the trick.
