Transferring a portion of library between Zotero accounts with PDF's

I was using part of my own library to manage references for a larger research project but have run out of space. Now I want to transfer just a portion of my library to another Zotero account and delete it from my library. I need the PDF's to be attached in this transfer as well. What is the most appropriate way to make this transfer?

If the files you want to transfer will be shared with others, you can create a group library, drag collections or items there, and then delete them from your own library once you've confirmed that they exist as you want (with attached files, etc.) in the group library.

Alternatively, you can export to Zotero RDF with files and import into Zotero set up with another account.

Note that either approach will break any links to existing citations in word processor documents, and when using export/import the Date Added/Modified values will be reset.
