Citations is not reacting

Hello!

I hope you could help me.
I have a mac os catalina 10.15 and i tried to use libre office with Zotero, but it is not working. It was easy to install and it was easy to get the add in, but the templet is not reacting when i click on it.
Do someone know how this problem could be solved.

Most likely that means there's a problem with Java on your system.

Thanks for the answere.
I already uninstalled an installed java on my mac and startet the whole system new, but even that did not helped.

You have the Java 14 JDK. You want to use the Java 8 JRE, which is what the documentation above says and links to.

There've been other reports that the Java 14 JDK doesn't work with LibreOffice 7.

Ohh... i tried to download the java 8 JRE and install it, but after I deleted libre office and installed it knew it is still running on Java 14JDK. How do I change the Java version?

You just need to select the Java 8 JRE from the Advanced prefs in LO.

But there is no option to select the JAVA 8 JRE.
I surley installed it.

Uninstall Java completely — both versions — and make sure it's gone from there, and then reinstall the Java 8 JRE.
