Disable check for plugins
Recently I've moved from Mendeley to Zotero, and I'm pretty happy with it's workings! (running Bodhi Linux 5.0.0, (Ubuntu 18.04))
However, every time I start Zotero, it prompts me to install Firefox and Libreoffice plugins, even though these are already installed and working. Is there any way to disable checking for these plugins? I'd like to keep checking for updates of course ;)

fixed it :) apologies for making a duplicate.
in the end the owner of the prefs.js file was set to root, with only rw permissions.
sudo chown prefs.js
did the trick :)
