An abbreviated version of APA Style?
I was wondering if anyone had created a CSL for an abbreviated version of APA Style? If not, what's the best way for me to go about making one? I'd like to use this for lecture/seminar slides where there often isn't enough space to provide a full reference, but I still want to acknowledge the source in enough detail so that students can easily find it if they want to. In particular, I wanted to make a version that gave the author (if more than two authors, then "First Author et al."), year, abbreviated journal title, volume/issue, page numbers So, for example: Vul et al. (2009). Perspect Psychol Sci, 4(3), 274–290. I know that abbreviated journal titles aren't strictly part of APA, but again, I'm trying to be economical here.
You could combine that with the DOI Manager plugin to get shortDOIs instead of long DOIs. Don’t use those in papers, but they are fine for slides.
Here is a version with just the journal abbreviation: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bwiernik/zotero-tools/master/apa-slide-presentation.csl
