Getting a webdav solution up and running for a private group

I wonder if anybody could give me - as a complete novice to Zotero - some guidance on how to share a group library via webdav. The question is which webdav solution we need: when we establish a webdav service with an external provider (free or pay), do we specify that we need access for one user - the group? Or do we need to ask for access for all group members?
  • Webdav is not enabled for group file storage. However, in the very near future a new storage solution for groups will be rolled out that will be much easier to work with.
  • Thanks!

So, how does one share group libraries per today, does anybody have any experience here? We need a group of ca 10 persons (and potentially more) to have access to the same library, at as low a price as possible as we are doing poverty research... :-)

If everyone's new to Zotero and you're in a hurry, you might try sharing one master account (i.e. having 10 clients that all sync to one Zotero account). That bypasses the Groups functionality entirely, and a downside is that all share one library. I've never tried it with more than 4 clients syncing together, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

However, the newest update is probably worth the wait ('in a few days', 'in the near future', 'very soon', 'by the middle of the week') because there will be improvements to group and storage features.
