How to get it really done: importing BibTeX-library

Hello, I have tried several times to import several BibTeX-libraries. The only thing that happens, is that the whole collection, one file is added, just as a filename. And not the singe entries. How could it be really done? I hope this i understandable. I speak Spanish, Catalan, German, French, Portuguese, Italian and a little russian, and could explain maybe better in one of those languages. Thanks very much for help!

    Did you drag it onto zotero rather than going to the file menu and selecting "import"?

    You just import from the file menu from the Zotero app

    So, I really have to install the app, right? This does not work in the browser, if I understand correctly? I prefer to work in the browser, but in this case I would have to install the app then. Thanks again!

    As far as I know import is only possible from the app. But if you're going to use Zotero, you'll want to have the app installed.
