I'm trying to get my old references onto a new computer and I just can't seem to do it.
The system has upgraded since but, I am totally bemused and cannot figure it out

    Thanks Dstillman but I really cant work out how to copy the files?
    I get to an open page where there files are and it says Zotero, but what then?

    You'd have to be more specific about what you don't understand from the instructions. It's just copying a folder between computers. How you do that depends on what OS you're using, how you're getting data between the two computers, etc. This doesn't really have much to do with Zotero specifically.

    As the page says, you can alternatively use Zotero syncing to transfer your library between two computers.
