Upgrade StorageError when exporting library

I have stopped being able to export my library. Every time I try to export I get the message "An error occurred while trying to export the selected file."
I'm using BetterBibTeX and the "keep updated option". I'm not sure exactly when the problem started, seems I have not try to used the updated file until now. I noticed that the latest file does have some of my references, but is incomplete.
I use Zotero on two machines, Ubuntu 16.04 and Ubuntu 18.04. Zotero vesion 5.0.89 on both.
