Upgrade StorageAdd bibtex to item
Hello,
I am trying to add BibTeX to my old item. For example, I have a paper with notes and tags, but the metadata is not quite correct (for example, the paper is in conference instead of journal). I obtained the correct bib data from website (such as dblp). I wonder is there an easy way to change the meta data of the item using the bib data?
Since the incorrect item's type (journal) is different from the correct one (conference), I cannot merge them directly. What I am doing now is creating a new item using the correct bib data and copy the attachment of the old one to it, deleting the old one. However, this is very cumbersome.

bwiernikIf you are using the Better BibTeX plugin, you can add raw TeX information to an item in the Extra field, but in this case, you should just change the item type to Conference Paper.
