Zotero logs in but not sync

Hello.
I successfully logs into Zotero, but then the sync process stretches for hour or so, and the next report id was Report ID: 106923565.

    S3 returned 0
    Something on your network is blocking Zotero's network requests to the Amazon cloud.

    See Connection Error.
  • I have seen Connection Error and my Firefox works over proxy with manual settings, but Zotero don't. In fact Amazon cloud may be blocked in our network. Maybe there is a way not to use it?
  • All of Zotero is hosted on Amazon, but this error is specifically Amazon file storage (Amazon S3), for use by Zotero file syncing. I'm not sure why Amazon S3 would be blocked specifically, but if it is, many other things on the internet would be broken for you.

    As that page says, you can configure Zotero the same as Firefox using the exact same settings.

    Beyond that, your only options would be to talk to your IT department or to disable Zotero file syncing.
