filter for items not tagged, or inverse filter for tag

I would like to filter for items that have not had a particular tag assigned to them, so I can assign a different tag to those items.

I could do an advanced search for these items, but then I cannot add a tag to the result set. Or can I?

Create a saved search from the advanced search.
