Upgrade StorageBOOK TYPE/MANAGEMENT

I work almost exclusively in the field of hymnody/church music. I have several thousand volumes in my physical library. I also have a very large zotero database that grows daily.
I work extensively with hymnals and items related to hymnals. While these are indeed a book, there would be tremendous benefit for a nuanced "book type" specifically for my hymnals. How might I go about doing this, if its even possible to create a custom "type?" Thanks.

Is the issue that you want to categorize hymnals separately, or do they need different/additional fields for information?
