Problem with Google Scholar Translator

Error Report ID: 1977412736

Hi, I'm having trouble with the Google Scholar Translator. I'm trying to save papers from here:
https://scholar.google.de/citations?user=VT7R-PsAAAAJ&hl=en&oi=ao
and keep getting "an error has occurred when trying to save this entry" and then a link to here
https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues

The problem first occurred when I ran into a syncing space barrier earlier, only then the error message inside Zotero was different.

By my earlier settings all the contents of Zotero were synced, including the attachments and I had maxed out the space freely available on Zotero.org.

I have since remedied this situation by purging the online storage space, changing the syncing settings, manually updating the translators, even restarting both Zotero and Firefox, but for some reason I still can not download any bibliographic information from Google Scholar from the link above or any other Google Scholar page. Other sources work fine, though.

I am on Linux Mint 19.3, Zotero version is 5.0.88 and Firefox version is 78.0.2.

I'd appreciate every help. Thanks, Helge

    From that page:
On some sites, most notably Google Scholar, you may also be running into site access limits.
This has nothing to do with online storage space. Your online storage quota never prevents you from saving anything to your local Zotero.
  • Thanks dstillman, that clarifies things. So there were probably two unrelated problems at the same time which confused me and made me suspect some sort of causality.
