Different citation styles within the same document/paragraph in MS Word

Dear all,

I've encountered a perplexing problem. Using the APA citation style, titations within a single paragraph will sometimes list the first name of an author but sometimes they will not (even though in all cases the first name is entered in the Zotero library). For clarity; I would prefer to not have the first names included in the inline citations.

Is anyone here familiar with this behavior, and how might I fix it? Many thanks in advance.

This is by design and helps the reader to differentiate citations from authors with the same name.
