Erroneous (or not) sqlite files?

edited July 6, 2020
Hello,

I have multiple sqlite files saved under zotero. They are:

zotero.sqlite 142 MB
zotero.sqlite.bak 145 MB
zotero.sqlite.1.bak 145 MB

Are any of these likely to be erroneous?

Thanks for any advice.
  • Zotero makes automatic back-ups of its database on various occasions, so this would be normal. Unless you're observing buggy behavior, there's no reason to think anything is amiss.
  • Hello,
I have a similar question with two other and older files :
    - zotero.sqlite.102.bak 02/24/2020
    - zotero.sqlite-1.tmp 01/23/2019
    (zotero.sqlite 11/09/2020)

Do you recommand to keep those files two ?
    Many thnaks for your advice

    Sophie
  • zotero.sqlite.102.bak is the same as above. It's an automated back-up (I think for a database upgrade or so -- those get different numbers). I'd keep it, but Zotero doesn't rely on it.
zotero.sqlite-1.tmp doesn't do anything, you can throw that out (it also likely don't do any harm)
  • Many thanks Adam !
