Report ID: 574124998 Google doc plugin from Chrome won't insert citation
Running Windows 10, Chrome 83.0.4103.116 (Official Build) (64-bit), Zotero Connector version 5.0.68
Zotero client 5.0.88
Report ID: 574124998
I'm a new user, but I can't figure out what's wrong. Working in google docs in Chrome, with the Zotero desktop app running, I have the correct toolbar options/icons, but when I select 'add/edit citation' nothing happens (the action does trigger a google docs save, but there's no dialog to select the source I want to cite). I've tried file make a copy --> new version that's not shared, no change in behavior. I've removed all extensions and themes from Chrome, no change .
The plugin is showing this error:
[JavaScript Error: "TypeError: Cannot read property '5' of undefined
at Object.injectScripts (chrome-extension://ekhagklcjbdpajgpjgmbionohlpdbjgc/background.js:328:45)
at chrome-extension://ekhagklcjbdpajgpjgmbionohlpdbjgc/background.js:267:36"]
Previously triggered errors as I've tried troubleshooting are of the same type, but the numeral in the 'cannot read property 'X' of undefined' is different on different instances, fwiw.
Thanks for any help or advice!

adomasvenRestart Zotero and Chrome. In a google doc, press the Zotero button (or select Zotero -> Add/Edit Citation). If nothing appears after a few seconds, look through Zotero windows (in the windows bar) and see if a dialog had opened but did not pop up on top. If that happened, you shouldn't minimize Zotero when switching to Chrome. Minimizing Zotero on Windows prevents the Google Docs plugin from restoring it and showing the appropriate UI. Instead switch away to a different window when you don't need Zotero.
