irregularity in footnotes

for continuous citations, zotero uses "ibid". but if we add a citation or a description manually within the text, then also zotero displays "ibid." it makes a confusion as the "ibid" here as a follow up of the footnote description which has been added manually. how can i solve that problem? is there a way to avoid "ibid" system?
  • Whether ibid is used is controlled by the citation style? For example, Chicago (note) does not use ibid. What style are you using?

I’m not following exactly what you are saying is happening, but Zotero can only be aware of the citations it inserts. If you manually type in a citation, Zotero has no way of knowing this citation exists.
