I can log in online and in my laptop with my zotero account but can't sign in on my desktop computer in office. When I try to sign in it says requested time out sometime after I click on syncing but could not sync.
I'm not sure what "followed the same" means — that page is explaining what on your computer could cause this problem. You'll need to debug this on your system. Zotero obviously works with a standard internet connection, so it's something about your networking setup.
If this is a work computer, you should ask your IT department for help — they should be able to understand how to debug this from the linked page based on the requirements of your network connection.
