PDF metadata by default?

Hi,

I love the PDF metadata option and I wonder whether I could choose to have Zotero automatically look for the PDF metadata when I drag and drop new files in the library (without having to right click the files) - is there any way to select this option?

If not, I think it would be a handy new feature one could choose in preferences

    It's planned—we'd just like to make some more tweaks to the recognizer before we offer an automatic option.

    I noticed that occasionally the recognized metadata information has nothing to do with the actual file - please let me know if it would be worth reporting such instances, and which forum would be the most appropriated for that.

    Sure, that'd be helpful. You can just start a new thread in the "2.0 Beta" category and provide any examples you have (ideally with links to pages where the PDFs can be obtained, if possible).
