SCholar Citations addon no longer working

As of today, any update of the number of citations of an item returns 0000, overriding the previous number existent in the Extra column. I am using for this the Scholar Citations addon, which I see has not been updated in a while: https://github.com/beloglazov/zotero-scholar-citations

Is there any known reason why this addon would stop working, or may I have simply made too many requests with it in too short a time span (must have updated citations for 20 or so items in one go)?
