Issue adding/modifying references in Google Docs.

I recently started to have some issues with my Zotero when using Docs. I have tried different browsers and even a different account and it still does not fix the issue. For some reason when I add/modify a reference Zotero will freeze 3/4 of the way and it never finishes. I attempted both using the Zotero add-in in the beta and adding it with Zotero and it is the same issue. So, I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and what would be the best way to fix this?

Thanks!
  • Does this happen in a new Google Docs document?

What exactly do you mean by "Zotero will freeze"?
  • No, it is a Google doc that I have been working on previously, and I did not have this issue until now. What I meant by "Zotero will freeze" is that when I add a reference, a red search bar comes up. In that bar it starts to mark the progress with a blue filling until the task is done. Unfortunatly, for me the progress bar will freeze and never actually finish adding/modifying a reference.
  • Can you restart Zotero and your browser and generate a Debug ID from Zotero for trying again?
  • I tried restarting Zotero, using the debug steps, and even uninstalled and re-installed Zotero and I was still having that issue.
  • I even tried two different versions for Zotero, the one with the Safari plug-in and the other one without it.
  • You have to actually post the Debug ID here. This is just for us to be able to help you.
  • The only thing that changed before the issue was that I did a software update. Okay, I will go ahead and post the Debug ID.

    Thanks
  • It works now after following the Debug ID post.

    Thanks!
  • To be clear, that process is purely for providing us with information — it doesn't do anything to fix problems. So this was likely just an intermittent problem with your connection to Google Docs.
  • Okay, well I appreacite your help, I hope you have a great weekend.
