Melvyl catalog/UC system

Zotero is fantastic--it works very well with the UCSC system! However, the site translator doesn't seem to work w/ the UC-wide Melvyl catalog, which is kind of an issue since I get most of my books from ILL... See: http://melvyl.cdlib.org/F/?func=file&file_name=find-b&local_base=cdl90

    It is 1/1/2008 and I still have the problem with Melvyl. Anything we users can do to help you in your wonderful efforts to get this resolved. The UC system libraries are just too exceptional not to be used with Zotero.

    What's the problem you're having? We have a Melvyl translator, and the above URL works fine for me.

    When trying to insert a search result (with the respective icon in the address field) I get the answer on the bottom right:

    Could not save item
    An error occurred while saving this item,
    Check known translator issues for more
    Information

    The same answer appears when search in the 'Deutsche National Biliothek"

    I had this problem awhile ago and I was advised with the following directions:

    "Under Zotero preferences' Advanced tab, click the "Rebuild Translators Table" button. If you're running a dev build the button may be labeled "Reset Translators and Styles...""

    It worked like a charm for my Melvyl issue.

    You'll need to provide an example URL (and possibly the search term/reference if it's not a static URL).
    The same answer appears when search in the 'Deutsche National Biliothek"
    These issues are specific to the site translator being used, so it's better to report errors from different sites in separate threads.
