correction required to NZ J Forestry Science reference style

Hi there,

The reference style for the NZ Journal of Forestry Science does not have spaces between author initials but the current Zotero style for this journal adds them. Please can you amend the Zotero style to exclude spaces between author initials?

Examples of the NZ J Forestry Science Style are available at: http://nzjforestryscience.nz/index.php/nzjfs/about/submissions#authorGuidelines

and are provided below without the required italics:

Article within a journal: Harris, M., Karper, E., Stacks, G., Hoffman, D., DeNiro, R., & Cruz, P. (2001). Writing labs and the Hollywood connection. Journal of Film Writing, 44(3), 213-245.

Report: Maclaren, J.P. (2009). Douglas-fir Manual. [FRI Bulletin No. 237], 32 p. Rotorua, New Zealand: Scion.

Please let me know when the changes have been completed. Thanks in advance

Looks like they moved away from Springer in 2018.
The NZJFS so far is just a dependent style for a Springer style. I had to create its own style.

    https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/4844/files

When it switches from "Open" to "Merged" you can update the style.
  • Yes, the NZJFS has not been published by Springer since 2018. I also found another issue. In-text citations should have an ampersand between author names not 'and' when in parentheses, e.g. (Jones & Smith 1984)” or “… as stated by Jones and Smith (1984).

    Thanks
    Ruth
