  • Thanks a lot for your help! There are a few updates needed to the Future Medicine style (for all Future Medicine journals, not just Bioelectronics in Medicine), is it possible to update the master file? I've had a look using Menderley, and have spotted the following:

    - Book Editors: this should be Ed. or Eds. depending on the number of editors.
    - Page ranges: the second number should be in full (i.e. 123-127).
    - There shouldn't be a comma before et al.
    - Book editions: should be in full, and first letter capitalised (i.e. 3rd Edition).
    - Webpage citations don't contain a year.
    - I couldn't see a conference presentation example in the tool I was using, but it should look like this: Smith AB, Jones CD. Recent progress in the pharmacotherapy of diseases of the lower urinary tract. Presented at: 13th International Symposium on Medicinal Chemistry. Atlanta, GA, USA, 28 November–2 December 1994.

  • Hi,

Please number the issues, otherwise it's hard to keep track.

    1. editors: added for books. (was showing correctly for chapters though)

    2. page-range-format: fixed

    3. editions: no idea where you get this info from, but I changed it.

    4. What do you mean by that? it prints out the same year date as for all the other items. no difference there.

    5. It already does this:
"Niditch S. Oral Culture and Written Documents. Presented at: Annual Meeting of the New England Region of the SBL. Worcester, MA. Worcester, MA, 25 March, 1994."

  • Hi,
    Thanks for the quick response!

    4. Apologies - I meant that the website citation currently contains the year, but it doesn't need to. So it should just be something like: "US Food and Drug Association. www.fda.gov"

All the rest is great, thank you!
  • I don't agree with that.
On page 36 they give these examples which clearly show the years.

    "Website example (specific webpage/document):
American Cancer Society. Cancer Facts and Figures 2015 (2015). www.cancer.org/research/cancerfactsstatistics/cancerfactsfigures2015/index

Milenkovic M, Russo CA, Elixhauser A. Hospital stays for prostate cancer, 2004. HCUP Statistical Brief #30. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, MD, USA (2007). www.hcup-us.ahrq.gov/reports/statbriefs/sb30.pdf"
  • I see - sorry for the confusion!
  • All the journals in the "Future Medicines" series have been added as dependents now using above created style:
