Citation Style Request
Request to include the style for the journal "Shock"
There is a previous request in the forum and I tried to make a similar style work, but have not been completely successful. I used American J of Resp Critical Care, which is close. Shock is a good journal and should be included. The style can be found here: http://edmgr.ovid.com/shk/accounts/ifauth.htm

(we also don't really go by the quality/impact factor of a journal. If nobody requests the style we won't make it simply)
Author instruction: http://edmgr.ovid.com/shk/accounts/ifauth.htm
You should be able to get a full length example here: https://journals.lww.com/shockjournal/Fulltext/2018/08000/Xiphoid_Surface_Temperature_Predicts_Mortality_in.14.aspx
In text citation Superscript (1,2)
Note article and book chapter titles should be in italics, can't do that in this format.
1. Campbell, J. L., Pedersen, O. K. The varieties of capitalism and hybrid success. Comparative Political Studies, 40(3):307–332, 2007.
2. Mares, I. Firms and the welfare state: When, why, and how does social policy matter to employers? In P. A. Hall, D. Soskice (eds.): Varieties of capitalism. The institutional foundations of comparative advantage. New York: Oxford University Press, 2001, pp. 184-213
Please adapt accordingly, not just copy from the link I gave you.
In text citation (1,2) in superscript.
1. Campbell JL, Pedersen OK. The varieties of capitalism and hybrid success. Comparative Political Studies 40(3):307–332, 2007.
NOTE ON 1. I can’t make the Journal Name italicized in this forum but it should be.
Also note that all authors need to be listed for this journal, i.e. no et al. .
2. Mares I: Firms and the welfare state: When, why, and how does social policy matter to employers? In Hall PA, Soskice, AE (eds): Varieties of capitalism. The institutional foundations of comparative advantage. New York: Oxford University Press, 2001, pp 184–213.
NOTE ON 2. The title of the book should be in italics.
We love Zotero. I teach all my students to use it. Thank you again.
Here's a draft.
In case you're wondering why this is not superscript numbers in text. We go by .pdfs of papers as that is the proper typesetting. The web form of a paper is oftentimes with a different style that they do themselves.
