I changed the physical location of my Zotero database to a sandisk, as Zotero was taking most of the available memory of my notebook. Now, Zotero keeps freezing and quitting. I received the message
Error(s) encountered during statement execution: disk I/O error [QUERY: CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE tagDelete AS SELECT tagID FROM tags WHERE tagID NOT IN (SELECT tagID FROM itemTags)] [PARAMS: ] [ERROR: disk I/O error]
Maybe, there is another way of storing Zotero data and avoiding the crashes?

dstillmanWe can't do anything about disk I/O error — it just means the disk isn't behaving like a normal disk. You'll need to store your library elsewhere. (And in general, I would strongly recommend not putting your library on a memory card.)
