Regular columns or features has wrong placement i Chicago 17th

According to Chicago Manual of Style 17 "14.195: Regular columns or features" (https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/book/ed17/part3/ch14/psec195.html) the placement of column name should be between article title and the title of the newspaper or journal:

Marc Jaffe, “Finding Love in Seesawing Libidos,” Modern Love, New York Times, March 6, 2015, http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/08/style/finding-equilibrium-in-seesawing-libidos.html.

Zotero outputs column name after both titles:

Marc Jaffe, «Finding Love in Seesawing Libidos», New York Times, Modern Love, 6. mars 2015, http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/08/style/finding-equilibrium-in-seesawing-libidos.html.

Can any body either update the official style, or tell me how to do achieve the correct format in a custom style for both newspaper and journal articles?

  • Are you using "section" for column? Zotero doesn't have a field for column and setion is intended for, well, section as specified in CMoS 191 (although it looks like we still have it in the wrong place -- should go after the date).
I wouldn't know where to put a "regular feature" in Zotero or CSL
  • Yes, I’m using Section Title for both “14.195: Regular columns or features” and “14.190: Magazine departments“ (which have the same format I believe) because they where the closes I could get, and I actually thought they where the same as Section. I tried to use the Visual Editor to change the placement, but I wasn’t successful because it was the same module for both footnote and bibliography and I couldn’t figure it out. I would be grateful for any suggestions on how I could achieve it.
  • @adamsmith The closest thing might the “Series Title” field in the Journal Article type, mapped to CSL collection-title. That makes conceptual sense to me.
