    I'm trying to insert a citation on a Google Doc using the Zotero extension. I get the following message:

    The Zotero Connector was unable to communicate with the Zotero desktop application. Zotero must be open to use web-based citing.

    You can download Zotero or troubleshoot the connection if necessary.

    After trying to redownload the Google Chrome extension as well as Zotero the app, I am unable to do. Please assist.
